Just bought 'The Sims: Complete Collection'.installation is driving me mad. I have windows 7 professional and apparently it is virtually impossible to install and play this game correctly on this OS. I thought it would have been as simple as inserting the disk and the installation screen automatically showing up. Nothing happened. I would like them to patch it for windows 10 or do a updated one on origin. If they put the complete edition of Sims 1 on Origin, they'd charge.

Usage
![The sims complete collection patch francais 1 The sims complete collection patch francais 1](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/w1uNaWPTJ0E/maxresdefault.jpg)
- Run Sims1WidescreenPatcher.exe as administrator
- Select your Sims.exe
- Enter your preferred resolution
- Click Patch
Selecting Valid Resolutions
While this application does allow you to input any resolution you want, your game most likely will crash on startup if you don't enter a valid resolution your monitor supports. You can find out which resolutions your monitor supports by:
- Right Clicking your desktop
- Select Display Settings
- Select Advanced display settings
- Select Display adapter properties for Display 1
- Select List All Modes

These are resolutions that will potentially work for The Sims 1. There are resolutions that don't work without dgVoodoo2, however. These resolutions are > 1080p or 1280x720.
I'm sure you can increase the range of valid resolutions by creating custom resolutions using Custom Resolution Utility
Uninstall
If you want to go back to your default Sims executable and optionally no dgVoodoo2 files, select the uninstall button.
